How to use it in a terrarium

1. Prepare the drainage layer at the bottom, for example with expanded clay.
2. Spread a layer of activated charcoal over the drainage layer, between the drainage layer and the potting soil, to help prevent mold.
3. Finish with the potting soil and plants.

In closed terrariums, activated charcoal is particularly useful for limiting unpleasant odors.
