How to preserve it

Position and light

It does not need light because stabilized greenery does not carry out photosynthesis: you can hang it even in rooms without windows, such as offices or windowless bathrooms. However, avoid direct sunlight and very hot halogen lamps, as UV rays can fade the pigments over time.

Water

It must never be watered: water can dissolve the pigments and irreversibly damage the moss and lichen. If it gets wet accidentally, immediately dab it with absorbent paper without rubbing and leave it to air-dry. Fertilizer, pruning, and repotting are not needed.

Temperature and humidity

The ideal temperature is between 15 and 25 °C, with tolerated minimums of 5 °C and maximums of 35 °C; ideal humidity is between 40% and 70%. Avoid very humid environments such as bathrooms with showers, outdoor locations, contact with water or solvents, underfloor heating, and sudden temperature changes.

Cleaning

To remove dust, use a hair dryer on the cool-air setting, held 30 cm away, without touching the fibers directly.
