Why choose the 12-year-old Premium Pyracantha:
With 12 years of growth and care, this specimen from the Premium Collection is a true masterpiece of nature. Its robust, mature trunk, branches laden with white flowers in spring, and clusters of orange fruits in autumn create a seasonal spectacle that returns every year. It needs both sunshine and cold weather to produce fruit, making it an authentic bonsai that follows the rhythms of the Mediterranean climate.
Care and placement:
Placement: Outdoors in direct sunlight all year round. In summer, protect it from excessive heat by placing it in partial shade. It tolerates cold well but should be protected from severe frost.
Watering: It needs plenty of moisture. Avoid wetting the flowers when watering to preserve their beauty and lifespan.
Care level: Easy - despite its maturity and considerable size, Pyracantha is a hardy, easy-to-manage species, ideal even for those new to outdoor bonsai.
Interesting fact about its thorns:
Thanks to its sturdy thorns, Pyracantha is used to create impenetrable hedges. It is often found along highways, where it is planted to prevent vehicles from crossing into the opposite lane. This hardiness and protective quality are also reflected in its nature as a long-lived, robust bonsai.
Important note: Every bonsai is a unique living thing. Shape and measurements are approximate. The pot is included in the dimensions. The pot's color and shape may differ from the photo. The plant's growth stage changes with the seasons. Images are for illustrative purposes and are not binding.
Bring the very best of the Premium Collection to your garden or terrace with this 12-year-old Pyracantha: a living masterpiece that produces white flowers in spring and orange fruits in autumn, year after year.
