Why choose the Ficus Amstel King Standard in a planter:
The Ficus Amstel King is one of the most elegant and visually striking varieties in the indoor Ficus family. Its large lanceolate leaves - up to 25-30 cm long - gracefully hang from the standard trunk, creating a broad, flowing crown of extraordinary beauty. At 330 cm tall in a 75 cm planter, this specimen is a tree in every respect, capable of elegantly filling hotel atriums, luxury lobbies, design showrooms, and any space requiring a monumental green statement. The standard form - a single upright trunk with an apical crown - gives the specimen a clean, architectural silhouette of great sophistication.
Care and placement:
Position: An indoor space with sufficient height (a minimum of 4-4.5 meters is recommended) and abundant natural light. Ideal near large windows, skylights, or in environments with professional full-spectrum artificial lighting. The Ficus Amstel King thrives on stability: once positioned, avoid moving it, as this could cause leaf drop.
Watering: Regular and professional. A specimen of this size requires a structured irrigation plan, preferably with an automated irrigation or sub-irrigation system. Frequency varies according to the season, light exposure, and the site's environmental conditions.
Fertilization: Fertilize regularly during the growing season (spring-summer) with a balanced fertilizer for large indoor foliage plants.
Maintenance: Periodic professional maintenance is recommended for crown-maintenance pruning, plant health checks, and fertilization. Contact us for a customized maintenance plan.
