Position and light
Keep the terrarium in a bright room but away from direct sunlight: the glass amplifies heat, and the inner leaves can burn within a few hours. An east- or north-facing window is perfect; a south-facing window is fine if the terrarium is 1-2 meters away.
Humidity and water
Check the inner walls: if they are misted, the humidity is correct. If the glass is completely dry, add 2-3 sprays of room-temperature water with a mister; if abundant water is running down instead, open the lid (if the terrarium is closed) for 24 hours. Mist the substrate directly with low-mineral water (rainwater, distilled, or filtered), approximately every 14 days in summer and every 30 days in winter, and never water with a stream.
Temperature
The ideal temperature is between 18 and 24 °C; avoid temperatures below 10 °C or above 30 °C.
Ventilation, cleaning, and pruning
