The Fira planter is a design project by Le Officine di Giulia, our in-house botanical design studio. Designed, shaped, and produced entirely by us, it was created as : it is not distributed, not available for sale, and does not exist anywhere else. Whoever takes it home owns an object that no one else can replicate.
Its surface is made up of thousands of small drops of high-quality white clay arranged in horizontal rows, like a tactile texture that invites touch. Production uses energy from renewable sources and low-impact processes: an object beautiful for how it is made, and responsible for how it comes into being.
Inside, a Ficus Ginseng with a sculpted caudex, roots shaped by time, and a rounded crown of glossy green leaves. An ancient, silent plant that brings a fragment of the landscape into your home.
The planter that tells you when to water
Fira is not just a container: it is a plant’s quiet companion. The porous clay breathes together with the roots, regulates their moisture, and supports their health. And it changes color to tell you what the plant needs.
| Bright white — the clay is dry, and the plant is asking for water. | |
| Matte white with a beige tint — the pot is still damp, and the plant is doing well. |
No app, no sensor. Just clay that speaks, and you learning to read it.
Why Fira
- Exclusive design by Giulia’s Workshops. You won’t find it anywhere else.
- Natural water indicator: the clay changes color and tells you when to water.
- Breathable roots: the porosity of the clay supports the plant’s health.
- Green production: renewable energy and high-quality raw materials.
- and inimitable: its shape, texture, and finish cannot be replicated in series.
